Nearly 11 years after it started, NDIS is not delivering what it should, despite it costing taxpayers more than Medicare. People with disability are still not achieving the kind of choice & control that the NDIS Act intended. But the NDIS Review recommendations published on 7 December 2023, if accepted and implemented by Government, will radically alter the way that Australia includes people with disability.
I have a deep understanding of the NDIS market and can assist providers to capitalise on their strengths and opportunities in a complex marketplace. I have operated at senior levels on all sides of the market - on the Government side (Director at NDIA), as a financial intermediary (CEO of My Plan Manager), as a service intermediary (founder of I Am In Support Coordination) and as a provider (CEO of a community-based not-for-profit).
